Vision Quest is a part of One World Global Health Network, and is dedicated to help Dr. Cathleen and Dave McCabe fund and facilitate medical mission trips which primarily serve to help patients in developing countries regain or preserve their sight. This is accomplished by a team of eye surgeons, who screen hundreds of patients and perform approximately 40 surgeries on each trip, in order to help correct conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma.
When you contribute to Vision Quest, through One World Global Health, your donation goes towards the costs of transporting the team and their supplies to the mission trip destination, as well as long-term investments in the communities we serve, by way of donated equipment and supplies.
Someday soon, we hope to augment this investment by securing a dedicated clinical space for medical mission teams to carry out consults and surgeries unencumbered by the local healthcare infrastructure, in the very special town of Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
